A thousand islands, one Adriatic.

Croatia

Croatia is one of the most extraordinary charter itineraries in the Mediterranean, a mosaic of more than a thousand islands scattered along nearly two thousand kilometres of coastline. Cruising these waters aboard a Sanlorenzo yacht means discovering a world of Venetian fortress-cities, wild archipelagos and sunsets that gild the limestone ramparts of Dubrovnik. From the Istrian refinement of Rovinj and Poreč to the Dalmatia of Split, Hvar and Korčula, every stop reveals a character all its own — and deeply Mediterranean.
Roman amphitheatres, UNESCO cathedrals, Byzantine mosaics and medieval walls alternate with turquoise coves, marine national parks and fresh oysters from Ston. The Kornati National Park offers anchorages among eighty-nine uninhabited islands, while the Pakleni islands off Hvar remain some of the most elegant yacht stops in the Adriatic.
A charter in Croatia is an invitation to experience the sea in complete freedom, between Venetian history, Michelin-starred cuisine and what may well be the most beautiful coastline in Europe.

8 Days in Croatia

Dubrovnik

The journey begins in Dubrovnik, its honey-hued ramparts rising straight from the sea. Marble streets, Baroque palaces and a walk along the medieval walls make for a refined introduction to the destination, before the surrounding islands reveal their quieter charm.

Dubrovnik - Elaphiti Islands

A short cruise leads to the Elaphiti archipelago, a cluster of green, largely car-free islands just off the coast. Drop anchor off Šipan or Lopud for a first swim in sheltered, crystal-clear water, followed by an unhurried afternoon.

Elaphiti Islands - Mljet

The cruise continues to Mljet, one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic — about a third of it protected as a national park. Once at anchor, you can explore two saltwater lakes ringed by pine forests and a 12th-century Benedictine monastery set on a small island within them.

Mljet - Korčula

On to Korčula, the fortified medieval town often called “little Dubrovnik”, with its distinctive herringbone street plan and strong Venetian imprint. Beyond the walls lie well-known vineyards, olive groves and quiet bays ideal for a stop in the water.

Korčula - Vis

The route continues to Vis, the most remote inhabited island in the Adriatic — closed to visitors for decades and still notably unspoilt today. Drop anchor off the fishing village of Komiža and tender across to the nearby island of Biševo, where the deep-blue glow of the Blue Cave awaits.

Vis - Hvar

Cruising on to Hvar, the sun-drenched island known for its lavender fields and Renaissance architecture — often referred to as the Saint-Tropez of the Adriatic. By day, the anchorage among the pine-covered Pakleni Islands offers a relaxing setting; by evening, the harbour welcomes guests with its elegant, lively atmosphere.

Hvar - Brač

A short cruise reaches Brač and the celebrated Zlatni Rat, the tongue of golden pebbles that reaches out into the turquoise water near the village of Bol. Bright beaches, crystal-clear sea and stops for swimming set the tone for a relaxed, sun-filled penultimate day.

Brač - Split

The voyage ends in Split, where the Roman heart of Diocletian’s Palace still pulses through white-stone lanes, cafés and inner courtyards. One last morning on deck, then it’s time to step ashore and let the city’s history welcome you in.

Dubrovnik
GIORNO 1

Dubrovnik

FAQ

How is the itinerary defined?

Every itinerary is tailored together with the Captain and the charter team, based on the guests’ preferences, the length of the cruise and the destinations they wish to visit. Every detail is planned with care to create a truly bespoke journey. The itinerary remains flexible and can be adjusted during the cruise according to weather conditions, port availability or the guests’ wishes, always under the Captain’s supervision.

Yes. Weather and sea conditions can affect navigation and may require certain stops to be changed. When this happens, the Captain will always propose alternatives designed to ensure comfort, safety and the best possible experience on board.

The itinerary is agreed with the guests, but the Captain plays a key role thanks to their knowledge of the destination, sailing conditions and the best anchorages. Following their suggestions allows guests to enjoy a more authentic, relaxed and safe cruise. On request, a proposed itinerary can be provided to make the most of the sailing experience and highlight the character of the chosen destination.

The APA is an advance fund paid by the Charterer at least one month before departure, typically 25–30% of the charter fee for sailing yachts and 35–40% for motor yachts. This sum covers the operating costs of the cruise, such as fuel, mooring, port fees, provisions and any additional requests made during the charter. Throughout the voyage, the Captain keeps track of all expenses and updates the guests regularly. At the end of the cruise a detailed statement is provided together with supporting receipts: any unused funds are refunded, while additional costs must be settled before disembarking.

Delivery Fees cover the cost of moving the yacht to or from a port other than its base. They apply when the charter begins or ends somewhere other than the yacht’s usual berth. The fee is generally calculated on fuel consumption, the distance to be covered and the time required to relocate the yacht and crew. Delivery Fees can vary depending on the season, the yacht’s availability and the scheduling of previous or following charters, and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

At least one month before departure, the Charterer sends the Broker a Preference List containing all the information needed to personalise the experience on board. Through this document guests can indicate food preferences, allergies or intolerances, special requests and any other detail that will help the crew prepare the cruise with the utmost care. This information allows the Captain, chef and crew to arrange every aspect of the service with precision and tailored attention, ensuring an experience perfectly aligned with the guests’ wishes.

The crew gratuity is not included in the charter fee and is generally offered at the end of the cruise as a token of appreciation for the service received on board. In the yachting industry it is customary to recognise an amount typically between 10% and 15% of the charter fee, though it remains entirely discretionary. It is a well-established practice in international charter, which we share openly so guests have a useful reference.
